“And so I wait. I wait for time to heal the pain and raise me to my feet once again - so that I can start a new path, my own path,
the one that will make me whole again.” ― Jack Canfield

When physical health is in question, everything else can be affected. While some people are more affected than others, I know that when my health is dialed in, my other goals become that much more achievable.
Unfortunately...
Unfortunately...
I have been experiencing pain of the right ankle since an injury in fall of 2019. I had high hopes for the surgery I had to fix it in January of 2020, pre-COVID.
I used to set goals to run the Boston Marathon, now the goal is to walk pain-free.
Being active is an important part of my physical and mental/emotional well-being. I have come to depend on it. But, like with everything else, just wanting it isn't enough. I have to take action. That said, taking action doesn't always bear immediate results.
Of late, taking action has looked like lots of diagnostic imaging, conversations with various local experts, and personal research. Each step of the process is important, as it leads to the next step, even though it can feel S . L . O . W .
As I plod through each step and look for a workable solution, I have to keep reminding myself to keep the bigger picture (health) in focus, as a way of maneuvering through the challenging times.
If you could use some support in navigating a situation in which you have to gather info, take action, and also be in allowance of the pace of the process, let's chat.
BWell, Rebecca
