We have been having some big conversations and making some big decisions within our immediate family. We’ve been talking about dreams, future adventures, challenges, and different ways forward...
With clients, I talk about learning to identify their own internal compass, so they can stay on their path, even when they cannot see exactly where they are going or what's up ahead.
I am walking the talk these days, continuously reminding myself that, as long as I stay true to my heading, I will stay on course, even if the precise destination is unknown.
As each new question arises in our household and our conversations evolve, I find myself at the interesting intersection between certainty and uncertainty.
While it's not yet time to share details, what I can tell you is that, for me, I am constantly reminded of the strength and value of breath, what all I can create through conviction, and the importance of trusting myself to take the next best step, even when the doubt and the worry tries to keep me rooted to one spot.
I am not a Coach because I think it’s a cool profession (even though I do!) or because I think it will give me status or accolades. I am a coach, because I am dedicated to finding more ease and joy within my human experience, while facilitating the same in others.
Being able to learn, grow, and share the journey with others makes the days a little brighter, the edges a little softer, and the valleys a little shallower.
I trust in others as I go on their journey with them, just as I continue to practice trusting myself on mine. This is faith. Regardless of how you believe faith works, it is appears as the belief that things can conspire in your favor, that things can work out, and that you have the ability to navigate whatever shows up next, as it comes.
I may not be able to see around the bend, but I know that moving toward that which I desire has greater pull than remaining in the space I have been. About this I am certain, despite all the uncertainty up ahead.
Could you use greater certainty amidst your uncertainty? Would you like support in understanding how to use your own internal compass, recognize your heading, and move ahead through discomfort with more ease? Let's chat.
BWell, Rebecca
