This month's focus is on gratitude, but why? Because we think we should be grateful? Because people might like us better if we're grateful? Because everyone else is talking about it? Nope.
I have chosen to focus on gratitude this month because...
I have chosen to focus on gratitude this month because...
...I believe it is a foundational piece for living a healthy, happy and whole life, regardless of what you are dreaming of creating next.
Gratitude is not about settling for the status quo, but rather about acknowledging all of the people and things that contribute to us and the life we lead. It is about connection, appreciation and being a part of something greater. It is about recognizing what we are creating from within, as well as what we are co-creating with everything outside of and around us.
Cultivating gratitude for things like our curiosity, creativity, resiliency, compassion, and all the other attributes that buoy us in our lives is especially important.
True gratitude comes from our center and exists in the present. When it flows from us genuinely and generously, it fills us and spills out into the lives of others.
Authentic gratitude from within, together with kindness (our December theme), create fertile ground from which we can then sew seeds of fulfillment in what's next.
Every day offers a new opportunity to deepen your gratitude practice. How will you embrace and express your gratitude this week?
BWell,
Rebecca
